Key Allied Health Positions

Physiotherapist

We are looking for physiotherapists who want to make a real difference in the quality of life of aged care residents.

As well as having excellent clinical skills, you must have a flexible and client-focused approach to your work.

Podiatrist

As a podiatrist with Encara you will enhance quality of life for residents in aged care facilities and/or in a medical centre setting.

As well as having excellent clinical skills, you will need great client-service skills and the ability to liaise with a medical care team.

Speech Therapist

Speech therapy, particularly in aged care has a number of core elements that need to be delivered as part of client care including, Dysphagia assessment and management, Speech/language assessment/therapy and On-going monitoring of swallowing.

Occupational Therapist

Our Encara Occupational Therapists will need to be competent in completing functional mobility and pain assessments, providing pain management treatments in accordance with ACFI requirements as well as provision of general treatments or rehabilitation sessions.

At a minimum, you will have tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and be registered with AHPRA. This will be an autonomous role requiring the candidate to be super organised and attentive to detail.

Dietician

As a Dietician, many people have food allergies, intolerances or sensitivities or combinations which require specialised attention. Maintaining a healthy, balanced diet in the process is just as important and can be especially challenging in the aged care environment.

Applying the knowledge of diet and nutrition to treat and prevent illness is essential, as well as the ability to work in correlation with doctors, clinical and food services management to provide comprehensive diet and nutrition advice and support to our clients.
