Peter built a strong reputation as a skilled and perceptive physiotherapist before becoming a founding director of Encara. He continues to draw on his experience in aged care, consulting with aged care providers to help develop leading-edge allied health care services to improve quality of life for older Australians.

Equally passionate about business management and customer service, Peter is a dynamic influence in shaping the Encara experience for both individuals and aged care managers

With extensive experience in both private practice and aged care, Bradley has a passionate involvement with the healing process and with the organisational framework that supports it.

He is an inspirational mentor that loves to see the continued growth and progression of Encara’s staff. He has particular pride in the career pathways and opportunities on offer for all staff at Encara.

Alex started our her professional life studying to be a veterinary nurse and ended up jumping head first into the Encara family, having been with them for over six years.

In her role as Allied Health Coordinator, Alex has the pivotal function of organising all of the resourcing across our facilities, with a focus on maximising the hours for our clients. It’s a tough job, but she manages to do this almost seamlessly in delivery to our clients.

Matthew has over 8 years of experience in remedial therapy including 4 years in physiotherapy. He completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Therapy) before continuing his study with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies.

Matthew spent his first years in private practice and with state and national sporting teams before changing his focus to aged care where he has always had an affiliation.

He spent a lot of time with his grandparents when he was growing up and his caring nature was always a fit for this industry, making him a perfect leader and mentor across allied health.

Karen has over 27 years of experience across a diverse range of services including chronic disease management, high risk foot care, wound and vascular management.

As the Podiatry Manager, she is passionate about ongoing education for her team and offering mentoring and a positive team environment.

One thing you can’t miss with Karen is her enthusiasm, and this continues out of the office with her amazing talent in cake decorating.

Rachel is a bubbly and passionate Physiotherapist with over 9 years’ experience in the industry. She spent the majority of her career working in private practice with a real passion for sports physiotherapy after growing up competing as a NZ gymnast for many years. However, her interest in Aged Care was sparked and she really enjoys this new aspect of physiotherapy also.

She is a firm believer in “move it or loose it!” and brings a positive energy around exercise and mobility into all facilities she works in. She loves working as part of a team and is equally passionate about helping to mentor, educate and train our staff here at Encara

Kylie joined Encara with 5 years of experience from working across a variety of clinical settings including private hospitals, aged care residential and community, clinical Pilates, private practice, and hydrotherapy.

Her passion in pursuing a physiotherapy career stems from her own experience as a competitive swimmer – where she had extensive exposure to injury prevention and management.

Kylie has a drive towards leadership and mentoring, and enjoys working with clients of all ages in providing treatments based on a holistic health and wellbeing approach.

Luke joined the Encara team with 4 years experience within the Hospital, Aged Care and community settings.

Luke is driven to achieve best outcomes for our most vulnerable Australian demographic. With a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach, Luke strives to mentor those involved in all aspects of client care in order to optimize physical function and quality of life within the aged care setting

Luke is an avid sports fan in his spare time playing both cricket and Australian Rules Football. Luke is also a snow enthusiast and loves to Travel.

Hoan is a passionate physiotherapist who is committed to delivering excellent patient focused outcomes with a strong interest in hands-on treatment, rehabilitation, and healthy aging.

Having experience working with a broad range of clients in culturally diverse environments in the community, acute hospital and private practice setting, it was ultimately in aged care where he found genuine passion and enthusiasm – much of which stems from having the privileged opportunity to have a profound effect on the elderly, with respect to their physical wellbeing and quality of life in his role as a physiotherapist.

Tai has 4 years experience in Physiotherapy, with a clinical background in sports, community services and aged care setting. His devotion to aged care stems from his family orientated upbringing and resonates with his core values of respect, compassion and positivity, which is reflected in the pride he has as a physiotherapist in the aged care setting.

Tai takes optimistic approach in promoting exercise and mobility throughout with the aim of improving the quality of life in the elderly. When he is not at work, you can find him on and off the local footy field – either playing or focusing on injury prevention and management.
